A Guide for Metro Detroit Vehicle Owners
Your Vehicle. A Managed Rental Operation.
If you own a luxury or performance vehicle that you do not drive every day, you may be considering making it available for rentals. The opportunity deserves a clear explanation of the work, costs and responsibilities involved.
Corsa Nero's vehicle partnership program offers professional rental management for accepted vehicles. Based in Dearborn, Michigan, we manage the rental process while you retain ownership, with competitive revenue sharing defined in a written agreement.
How Does a Vehicle Partnership Program Work?
An owner makes an accepted vehicle available to a rental management company under agreed terms. The company handles the rental operation on the owner's behalf, and the owner receives the agreed share of qualifying rental revenue.
At Corsa Nero, you keep the vehicle title. Our role covers marketing, inquiries, renter screening, rental documents, delivery and return coordination, payment collection and reporting. Availability, operating authority, expenses and payment terms are documented before activation.
This can suit an owner who wants help managing rentals and is comfortable with the vehicle being driven by approved renters. It still involves mileage, wear, maintenance and exposure to loss. A vehicle that sits unused is not automatically a profitable rental vehicle.
What Corsa Nero Manages
Marketing and Booking Communication
We present the vehicle, respond to inquiries and coordinate bookings. Rental pricing and any agreed minimum rate are handled under the management agreement.
Screening and Rental Documents
We review renter identity, license, insurance and required documentation before approval. Screening reduces uncertainty but cannot guarantee a renter's conduct or an insurer's response to a claim.
Handoffs, Records and Reporting
We coordinate delivery and return, document vehicle condition and mileage, collect rental payments and prepare partner statements. Authorized GPS monitoring supports the operating process under the written terms.
Review our current rental fleet to understand the type of vehicles and customer experience Corsa Nero offers. Existing fleet listings do not guarantee that a similar vehicle will be accepted.
Competitive Revenue Sharing With Written Terms
Corsa Nero offers competitive revenue sharing for accepted vehicles. Your specific rate, the revenue it applies to, permitted deductions and payout schedule are stated in the agreement you review before joining.
Focus on the calculation as well as the percentage. Base rental charges, delivery fees, taxes, refundable deposits and damage recoveries serve different purposes. They should not all be treated as money available for an owner payout.
The management structure calculates the split using net rental revenue after attributable payment processing or booking platform fees and approved shared expenses. Delivery charges are allocated separately. Your executed agreement controls the arrangement for your vehicle.
Ask to see how a sample booking would appear on your statement: rental revenue collected, permitted deductions, the amount subject to sharing and your resulting payout. A clear calculation is more useful than an earnings promise.
Bookings and income depend on demand, vehicle condition, price, season and availability. There is no guaranteed monthly income, occupancy level or investment return.
Understand the Costs of Making Your Car Available for Rent
Rental revenue is only one part of the decision. Owners should account for acquisition or financing costs, registration, insurance, maintenance, tires, wear and depreciation. Repairs and time out of service can affect the overall result.
Under the management structure, the owner bears vehicle ownership and mechanical maintenance expenses. Corsa Nero bears its management overhead, including marketing, screening, electronic contracting and telematics service. Shared expenses require written agreement.
Before committing, discuss repair authorization, mileage records, vehicle availability, personal use and the process for removing the vehicle from service. Review the agreement's notice requirements and treatment of bookings already scheduled when the relationship ends.
Which Vehicles Qualify in Dearborn and Metro Detroit?
Corsa Nero considers select luxury, exotic and performance vehicles based on current rental demand and operating requirements. Eligibility is reviewed individually rather than promised by make, model or estimated vehicle value.
- Market fit: the vehicle, configuration and expected rental price must fit the customers we serve.
- Condition: the exterior, interior, tires, mechanical condition and maintenance history matter.
- Documents: ownership and registration details must be accurate and verifiable.
- Permission: any lender or lessor restrictions must permit the intended commercial rental use.
- Availability: the schedule you can offer must work with the management arrangement.
- Insurance and risk: coverage and responsibilities must be reviewed before activation.
Submit the year, make, model, current mileage and a straightforward description of condition. Disclose financing, lease restrictions, known defects and outstanding repairs early so the review starts with accurate information.
Insurance, Damage and Theft: Questions to Resolve First
Do not assume a personal auto policy covers commercial rental use or that a renter's policy will cover every loss. Confirm the proposed use and applicable coverage with the insurer or a qualified insurance professional before making the vehicle available.
The management agreement includes specific insurance duties and loss allocation provisions. Read them carefully, including who bears an uninsured loss, how deductibles and recovery costs are handled, and what happens if a vehicle is damaged, stolen or not returned.
Condition photographs, renter verification and GPS monitoring are useful operational measures. They do not guarantee that damage will be prevented, a vehicle will be recovered or a claim will be paid. Owners should understand and accept the actual risk before signing.

An application begins the conversation. Acceptance requires eligibility review, confirmed operating requirements and a completed written agreement.
Vehicle Partnership Questions
Do I keep ownership of my vehicle?
Yes. Under the Corsa Nero management structure, the owner retains title and authorizes Corsa Nero to manage rentals within the written agreement.
How much can I earn from renting out my car?
There is no guaranteed amount. Results depend on accepted bookings, rates, availability, expenses and your agreed revenue share. Review potential costs and the payout calculation before deciding.
What revenue share does Corsa Nero offer?
We offer competitive revenue sharing. The specific rate, revenue definition, deductions and payment schedule are documented in the agreement for your vehicle.
Can a financed or leased vehicle join?
Only if the intended use is permitted by the applicable financing or lease terms and the vehicle meets the other program requirements. Do not assume a standard personal vehicle agreement allows commercial rentals.
Does applying commit my vehicle to the program?
No. Submitting an application starts an eligibility review. It does not create a management agreement or guarantee acceptance.
